Southeast Missouri Regional Economic Development, Inc. (SEMO REDI) has launched Industry Insights, a new publication designed to spark informed conversations about the trends, challenges, and opportunities influencing economic development across Southeast Missouri.
“The economy is shifting rapidly,” said Shad Burner, CEO of SEMO REDI. “The Fourth Industrial Revolution is changing how industries operate, how people work, and how communities compete. We created Industry Insights because we believe our region benefits from thoughtful conversations about these changes and the opportunities they present.”
The inaugural issue focuses on workforce development, examining the demographic and economic forces reshaping labor markets and highlighting how organizations throughout the region are responding with innovative solutions to attract, develop, and retain talent.
“While workforce is the focus of our first issue, Industry Insights is intended to be an ongoing resource that explores the broad range of issues affecting economic development in our region,” Burner said. “Our goal is to bring together data, local perspectives, and practical ideas that help business and community leaders make informed decisions for the future.”
